Method
How we run event-driven trading journal analysis — from the material you send to the brief you take away.
Intake
You send two to four weeks of journal pages — digital export, spreadsheet, or clear photographs. We ask for markets traded, session times, and any standing rules you already follow around news.
Event overlay
Before we meet, we build a timeline of scheduled releases and notable headlines that fell inside your trading windows. Your trades are placed on that timeline, not judged in isolation.
Live review
In ninety minutes (or sixty for a briefing) we walk contested decisions: size changes after a print, early exits into a known speech, adds that coincided with peer-stock shocks. You remain the decision-maker; we supply the framing.
Carry-forward brief
Within two business days you receive a short written note: patterns, event types that repeatedly cost you, and questions for the next cycle. Clarifying email is open for five business days after delivery.
What we never do in this method
We do not issue trade ideas, score your “edge” with invented metrics, or replace your risk rules. The method exists to make your own journal speak clearly about event pressure.
Where sessions happen
Remote across the UK, or in person at Level 11, 69 Albion Street, Leeds LS1 5AP.
