Refunds and cancellations

Scope

This policy covers fees for Event-Driven Journal Review, Pre-Event Briefing, Weekly Journal Coaching, and related confirmed sessions with Datafabric Grid. It does not cover third-party software subscriptions or physical goods, which we do not sell.

Eligibility

Refunds apply to fees you have paid to us for a confirmed session or coaching block, subject to the timing and conditions below.

Cancellation by you

• More than 5 business days before the session: full refund of fees paid for that session, or transfer of the deposit to a new date within 60 days.
• 2–5 business days before: 50% refund of the session fee; deposit may be retained as a cancellation charge.
• Fewer than 2 business days, or no-show: no refund for that session.

Rescheduling

One complimentary reschedule is allowed if requested at least 48 hours before the appointment. Further reschedules may be treated as cancellations under the tiers above.

Coaching blocks

For Weekly Journal Coaching, unused weeks remaining after a mid-block cancellation are refunded on a pro-rata basis minus sessions already delivered and minus a £60 administration charge. Weeks missed without 48 hours’ notice are treated as delivered.

Work already started

If we have completed preparation on journal materials you sent and you cancel inside the 2–5 business day window, we may retain the preparation portion (up to 30% of the session fee) even where a partial refund otherwise applies.

Deposits

Deposits secure calendar time. They are applied to the session invoice. Deposits become non-refundable when cancellation falls inside the no-refund window above, except where we cancel.

Cancellation by us

If we cancel for reasons other than your breach, you may choose a full refund or a free reschedule.

Materials you purchased elsewhere

We do not sell market data terminals, courses, or printed kits. Costs you incur for your own stationery, data feeds, or travel to Leeds are not refundable by us.

Refund method and timing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval. You will receive email confirmation when the refund is instructed.

Exceptions

If mandatory UK consumer law grants you a stronger right in your circumstances, that right prevails over this policy to the extent required.
